Buyer must purchase a show license plus a formatting/media fee (based on projector resolution). For example, if Earth's Wild Ride is the show of choice for HL-X2 (1024x768) projector, then cost will be $2500 plus $1024 pixel resolution. The total is $3,524. Some shows also require separate licensing of music content. Some shows have higher license fees for fixed domes.
Show license is valid for 10 years (some are perpetual) and is non-transferable. E-Planetarium distributes shows for single-source projectors only. All buyers are required to sign an end-user agreement from the show producer(s) prior to delivery. Prices and shows subject to change without notice. Not all shows may be available in all formats.
*Our new Newtonian-1 projection system uses pre-warped shows for the best possible resolution (up to full HiDEF - we use the full width (1920 pixels) of a HD projector, not just an inscribed 1080 circle!). Shows marked with * are available now in prewarped format, with more being reformatted on request. Format fee for HD projectors: $1920.
